Half Term Pottery Painting – Valentines & Mothers Day

Half Term at The Happy Potter ! – Valentines, Mothers day and Heading towards Easter

Hi again from the Happy Potter and welcome to our first Blog of the year.  It is already proving to be a busy year and so far we have seen Dragons in Bramhall Village Square at last weekends Chinese New Year celebrations. We had Monkeys pots to paint with it being the year of the Monkey, and we still have plenty available for your little monkeys to paint this half term!

This week we also had Daisy Imprints holding a session in the shop on Wednesday, and she will be here again on Saturday 13th Feb.

Valentines day is the following day, and we have been busy this week with Love Plaques, Vases, Pucker up Mugs, Teapots, and other Valentines related pottery.  Most have been uniquely painted, and some too have been decorated with decoupage.

Our newly decorated Birthday Party room opened last month too and has been very busy since!  We have had several Parties so far in it and have plenty of bookings leading past Easter now, if you are thinking of holding a party, please speak to us as soon as you can.

As I said at the Start it is half term this week and we are expecting a busy week, now that winter is starting to move towards spring.  We have bought in quite a number of new lines to satisfy the demand of half term, and again as Easter approaches we will bring bringing lots of themed lines to suit the season.  Don’t Forget Mothers day on Sunday 6th March and remember that you need to be painting your Mothers day gifts about 4-5 days before Mothers day so that they will be glazed, fired and ready to collect before the day.

You will see in the shop too that we have now got lots of Baby & Childrens Pictures on display courtesey from Sharon Wallis Photography  who is based in Bramhall Village.

Lastly we are now please to offer beautifully crafted, hand painted Wine glasses and tumblers, made right here at the Happy Potter.  We have some lovely designs already produced for you to buy, and if you like we can personalise them by adding loved ones names or messages on.

1 Month in !

The Happy Potter has now been open for 1 month so thanks for all those that came to visit us at Bramhall. We have seen some wonderful creations and met some lovely people. Christmas decorations as you can imagine have been in high demand, incorporating hand and foot prints of babies and small children as gifts. Paint a pot has proved popular in bramhall and our kiln has been full 2 or 3 times a week so far!
For January we will have a range of calendar examples for you to produce, either with our design or one of your own. Please see the pictures in the gallery section. Also in January our Party room will be up and running so we will keep you updated.

Bramhall village square will this week see the opening of The Happy Potter – a paint –a-pot Studio on Saturday 14th November 2015, the first of its kind in Bramhall, this family owned business hopes to bring art based entertainment to the community.
